Hi there,
Does anyone know how to change an error message (Delivery date in the past) to a warning message in SRM? I believe it is simply changing the status from 'E' to 'W' but we don't know where.
Thank you very much in advance.
Regards,
Jens
Hi,
You can change the message from error to warning.
Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Message Control -> Influence Message Control
Example for message 584, from standard "E" to "W"
1-Select BUS2121
2- double click message control
3- click new entry
4- message class : BBP_PD
5- message : 584
6- press enter
7- type : W

A new window opens up.
Select BUS2121 (Business object)
and then double click on Message control folder
on the left side.
Create a new entry with
Mesaage class - BBP_PD
Msg no - 584
Text - Preferred delivery date cannot be kept; Earliest date: &

Hope this will definitely solve the problem.

Hi Jens,
Some messages are in table BBPV_PDMSG.(also available through SPRO)
If so, you can easily change from E to W.
Kind regards,
Yann
