Table header fixed

hi

i have a table with n colums.

i would fix the table header so that are the header always visible.

have anybody a idea how can i do this?

Hi Thomas,

Do you want to create a table in webdynpro? if so then these are the steps.

1.> Create a table UI element in your webdynpro View.

2.> Right click on your table from the outline view and say create binding.

3.> it will open your context, now select your node from the context and select next. select whichever columns you want and say finish.

As far as I know, Excel freeze functionalities are not available yet.

You cannot freeze table rows including header yet.

Someone correct me if I am wrong here.

Hello,

You are correct, this is not possible.

A possible other solution is to set the number of visible rows in your table. Then you can use the footer for navigation thru the table. And if you do not show to many rows the header will remain visible.

Please explain your term "fixed header". Standard headers of WD Table are already fixed -- they are not scrolled when rows scrolled. Or you want to "fix" them somehow for horizontal (rather then vertial) scrolling?

Moreover, there are Fixed Cells in NW04s, so you may create fixed rows from "regular" rows of table data source.

Hi all

Probably I am wrong, but I feel that it's possible to use Table Popin control here. Or as variant probably Column Header Group would also be helpful here.
