Hi all,

I am trying to install SAP R/3 4.7 in Windows 2003 Server. Os is SAP DB

I am confronting with the following error. Please help me....

<b>MOS-01012 PROBLEM: 'E:\SAP\RDBMS73/NT/I386/sdbinst.exe -I C:\sapdb\data -i C:\sapdb\programs -d C:\sapdb\SR3\DB -b' returned with '1' which is not a defined as a success code.

Please help me to fix this issue...

can u tell me which database u r using and which version of java. is it ideas version?

That is incompatibility with the OS(win 2003 server). 4.7 is compactible with 2000server.

@kishor...that depends on the underlying kernel and database version....have a look @ pam:

for example....

7.5.00 with kernel 640 is fully supported on win2k as well as on win2k3

7.6.00 with kernel 640 is fully supported on win2k3

I had something close about a year ago. It was with SQL though. The install program was looking for information but, instead of going for the DVD-CD it was looking at the C: drive. I loaded all of the install files to C: drive and launch the install from there.
