regarding Guided Procedures within CAF, you can use WebDynpro ABAP as Callable Objects just like WD Java (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/67/a780415dc6050de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm).
But within a Composite Application you will have to use WD Java, because CAF is Java-based, a WD Java project is created when you create a CAF project in Developer Studio, the CAF UI Patterns are Java-based, ...
