please explain the flow of MDM ,wat r the steps we should take in MDM for consolidation and harmonizatiob

Hi,

In MDM harmonisation scenario, you would add the data to the MDM which gets harmonised to all the systems.

Any changes in any system is made to the MDM which gets circulated in all other systems.

This ensures that the master data remains consistent in all systems.

Hi Raj ,

Flow of MDM is sending out Data from Source systems to MDM ( usually with the help of XI ) .

Then Import the data into MDM with MDM-Import Manager . The Normalisation , Mapping is done in Import Manager itself .

Afterwards Data will be auto or manually merged into Data Manager . So that duplicate entries are deleted .

Lastly , send the Data back to Source systems with the help of MDM Syndicator . (this is harmonisation) .
