Inegrated Training Environment

My company is currently running R/3 4.0 B.

I am trying to find industry best practices or solutions around having a training and/or testing environment that is linked to our other systems like HR, BW, APO, etc.. I am looking to have the data in these systems refreshed - that is master and transactional data. Any info or suggestions on good ways or best practice for doing something like this is greatly appreciated. Currently we update some master data for the sake of manually creating transactional data, but that is it. We have no linkage of systems and we have no "PROCESS" of refreshing the transactional data in all the systems.

Thanks for the input. The TDMS is only avail after 4.6C so we are out of luck there. I will try to post in the other forums and see if I get any input.
