Hi All,
I recently installed the trial version of NW2004s from SDN. When I try to log on to the Visual Composer, I am getting..
"Bad or Missing Storyboard configuration file (~studio.ini)"
and the screen goes blank. I do have VC Role assigned to the user. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Sameer
Hi Sameer,
I had this error on a machine, which has Internet Explorer 7, but you need IE6.
If this is not the issue, tell me something about your settings on your client machine.
Best Regards,
marcel

Yeah, IE 7.0 was the problem. After uninstalling it, I am able to bring up the storyboard.

Thanks for the replies. I did go through the link that you mentioned, however my problem still persists.
My environment is as follows
-Single server installation on Windows 2003 with two drivers. SAP installation is on Drive D
-Trial version of NW2004s SP9 from SDN
- Server installed successfully
-Browser version IE 7.0
- Installed Adobe viewer and MSXML parser on the server
-Java Version is 1.4.2_13
- User "Administrator" has the VC role assigned.
I did change some of the passwords during initial installation. like master/admin etc. Would that affect any of the "out of the box" config? I also noticed that "Storyboard" directory is created on my drive "C:", but my SAP installation is on Drive D. I wonder if this makes any difference.
Thanks for your help
Sameer

OK, looks now like the IE 7.0 is the problem:
