Strange RFC behaviour

When testing Integration Engine on one of our XI systems a strange error has occured. System has been running unchanged for a long long time. No the integration engine test fails. Error is:

Can the SLD be reached:

SLD ping gets exception: Error opening an RFC connection.

SLD is running, t-code SLDCHECK shows only green lights. When I look at the RFC trace I see this error:

Transaction program not registered

DEST =LCRSAPRFC

HOST =%%RFCSERVER%%

PROG =LCRSAPRFC_Q00

But when I check LCRSAPRFC from SM59 it works fine!

What can be wrong here?

Hi,

It says the program is not registered. So go to SMGW and click on Goto Menu and click on Loggedon Clients. There you program should be registered. But the error says it is not registered. So register your program and check whether it solves your issue or not.

There might be some change on SAP R/3 side.

Check if any RFC settings has been modified.Probably its no more 'remote enabled'
