Application server Installation

Hi,

We have already Installed CRM5.0(ABAP+JAVA) distribution instance Installation for Production environment.

As per client requirement we need to add one more application server for additional system.

How can we install additional application server for different system.As i know that this is just dialog instance installation. After installaing dialog instance do we need to maintain logon groups(smlg).I dont think we required for logon groups.

After installing dialog server in different system , how will i configure transport config, profile parameters , etc ?

Appriciate for experianced suggestion

Hi,

You need to install a dialog instance , once you add a dialog instance, the message server would know about the application server.

You may need to manually change logon groups to include the new system.
