not define operation type

HI,

i have R/3 IDES 4.7, i am doing client copy from 000 to 121, after created new client i entered in to new client with sap* and password: pass, i used sccl to copy the client, i scheduled the background job by selecting SAP_ALLl profile in final step

it gave error like "target host ot target server sapnw10_r01_00 is not define in an operation type.

please help me hot solve this problem,,,,

Hi,

Check in transaction SCC4 if Your client 000 and 121 have logical system properly assigned.

i checked that condition , it ok. with out lagical system i am unable to create client naaaaa

You may create logical system in transaction SPRO -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> ALE Settings -> Distribution -> Sending and Receiving Systems -> Logical Systems -> Define Logical System.

Example.

System SID = R3I

Logical name will be R3ICLNT000 and R3ICLNT121

If You create that, in transaction SCC4 double click on client 121 and assign Logical System R3ICLNT121 to it.
