Password Expiry Date in SAP GUI Login

Can any one answer the following question ?

Consider that in SAP GUI Login, an user changed his pasword(password_expiration parameter - 180 days- default) and after 40 days , he changes his password.

Case 1: After 140 days, the "Update the Password" message is displayed while loging in.

Case 2: After 180 days, the "Update the Password" message is displayed while loging in.

Which one is correct....

Hi,

According to note 2467, login/password_expiration_time defines the number of days after which passwords must be changed. Thus after 180.
