issue with trying to create a copy back to existing ID

we are having an issue we can't seem to resolve. We upgraded our BW server and we believe in the process some access got messed up. I was no longer able to open any queries in BEx. Securty created a copy of my exiting account and this worked and fixed the issue. However when they tried to create a copy back to my existing ID the same issue came back.. Do you have any ideas?

SAP note 800131. Your host or possibly even user ID is not registered for the program ID BEXANALYZER?

You can see the entries and whether the file changed in AL11.

I went here but it is a listing of directories.

By default the directory is /data/ => Double click DIR_DATA

By default there is no file.

Did you read the SAP note and related notes? (You mentioned before that your "roles" have not changed... but the authority-checks may have! I assumed that this is not the case => hence my "idea")

Why I thought that your "host" might be involved is because of <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/1a/4723f86bfb40129db2f7ec3cb1f4f1/content.htm">this</a> idea.
