Hi All,

I wanted to know what methods are available to transport ECP Costing Layouts between clients as there is no ALE to move the ECP layouts.

Thanks for your replies,

Hi,

I was wondering if i could use LSMW to transport some of the costing layouts between clients. My problem is there are around 2500 characeristics with the Costing Models and i really am not sure what is the right method.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please use the below method

1. Download the Characteristics list from one client using T-Code ‘CT10’

2. Make a appropriate customization in other client

3. Make a fate file ready for upload

4. Use LSMW Object ‘0150’

5. Method ‘0000’ and program ‘RCCTBI01’

6. Run LSMW ….

7. you can upload all the characteristics ….

Hi,

That was for the characteristics. Now, how can i move the Cost Planning Models (TCODE CKCM) between clients or since it is master data, I would need to manually enter the costing models in the cleint..Also, if you can tell me how can i transport all the derivation rules associated with cost models and characeristics.

Thanks,

Rohit

Hi,

In CKCM transaction, is a function Export/import.

This allows you to export all the layout with derivation rules and caracteristics to a text file on disk.

Then you can import in the target system.

I used it with ECC 5.0 and sometimes had to run import several times (short dump), but finally it works well.

Sorry all

My answer was a little bit too fast.

Import/export functions are not in CKCM transaction.

They are SAP reports that you can execute with SE38:

CKECP_EXPORT_MODEL

CKECP_IMPORT_MODEL

Hi,

Option 1:

If there is client to client Transport request route is set-up.

Option 2:

If client copy is possible at some point of time.

Option 3:

You may have to do same settings again
