webMethods XI adapter

Hi there,

We are in the middle of config time of using Webmethods XI adapter to connect to XI 3.0 (or PI 7).

Has anyone used the webMethods adapter for XI?

In side XI, could you guys help to understand which adapter we should choice for the communication channel?

preferred method is, since webMethods and XI both support SOAP, and http go for either of these ways to talk to each other.

The Adapter type BC should work perfectly, for the reason the adapter type BC is for SAP Business Connector, that is exaclty a webMethods product with different branding.

But in my opinion if webMethods will post to XI correct payload you need adapter type "XI".

I'm not sure about how XI adapter works, but if you are using that for webMethoids ---> XI, cant you use that for XI -
