4.7 IDES Install problem (MSC-01015 )

Hello.

I install the IDES but I have installation problem.

When installing database instance, at database load step, the status is

running 1, waiting 0. then stop installing. Log is as below.

"MSC-01015 Process finished with error(s), check log file

FJS-00012 Error when executing scripts."

I cannot solve this problem because I am new to install the IDES.

Please anybody help me to overcome this problem.

What Version of Oracle are you using?

Try to Change the Dump...

It might solve your problem.

Dear Deepesh Ji,

Thanks for providing help to me for solving problem on SAP 4.7e Installation.

I installed 4.7e on windows2003 SP2 with Oracle8i (81700).

Even I again recopied my whole dump, and restart SPInst Server with GUI, but the problem is not solving at my end.

This is my 2nd arrangement of collecting all 3 DVD's. I am too much off-mood due to unsuccessful on installation from last one month.

This file was corrupted. I downloaded the SAP IDES 4.72 from SAP portal. Finally I succeed.

Hello.

I think 3 files may be corrupted.

(SAPAPPL0.001, SAPAPPL2.002, SAPSSEXC.005)

This problem might be caused by copied DVD.

Can anybody help me ?

if the copied files are corrupt you need to copy them again hoping that this time they are clean...<b>you could check with sfv tools</b> (simple file verfication) but you'll need to make the 1st check before copying the files; in the second step you'd check the files again (in their new location) and compare the results...if you'd like to try: http://download2.inicom.net/freeware/flashsfv2.0f.zip

Hi,

It seems the copies of the dvd made on the cd are not done properly or when you are dumping the contents of the cds to the hd some of the files are not being copied to the desired locations where they are supposed to be. In this case it goes on throwing errors. It is better to ask the person from whome you got the installation cds regarding the location where the files are to be dumped. Or dump from the original DVDs and try i hope it wont give you any error during installation.

These sort of errors are frequently seen when installation is made from copied cds or dvds.

copy the dumps once again and try to install from the scrap. Dumps may be corrupted.
