SRM-SUS Single client

Hi All

We have installed SRM 5.0. The SUS component is integrated with it.

However we are not sure whether SRM and SUS components are communicating to each other ?

Could any one confirm what all settings need to be done to activate SUS . If XI is required what all settings required?

Thanks

NNK

Hi Nitin,

Follow the steps which Vijayakumari has told in her reply.

Also, you can refer to this thread for EBP-XI-SUS:-

I hope this helps. Close the thread, once you are done.

Hi Nitin,

To add few more :-

For XI contents for SRM look at service.sap.com/xi --> Business content --> SAP XI Content --> XI content delivered by SAP --> mySAP SRM.

You can also check these docs, which might be helpful:-

Hi Nitin,

If you are integrating SAP R/3 (> WebAS 6.2) with SRM-SUS, the standard XI content is available in service marketplace.

You need to set up proxy between the R/3 and the SRM system and you will have to generate the proxy for the Message Interface in the R/3 side.

I hope this clarifies.

Thanks Praveen..

The scenario is to Integrate SRM-EBP with SUS that are residing in single client. I hope my question is clear now?

Is XI required for this scenario???

Hi Nitin,

Yes, you need XI. For example, if you are generating a PO in EBP and sending it to SUS. For transformation you need XI.

Thanks Praveen

We have already configured the SRM system . Could you please ellaborate the steps to integrate EBP with SUS through XI, for single client.

Thanks

hi,

1. Create a link between SAP XI and EBP and SAP XI and SUS

2. If they are on the same client then your life is easy as you need to dot he config only once. This is for activating your proxy.

/people/vijaya.kumari2/blog/2006/01/26/how-do-you-activate-abap-proxies

3. Once you have done this you have to start doing config in the Integration directory for configuring the Interfaces. I did not get any specific guide for this.

Once you go through allt he namespace you will understand which interface is sender and which is receiver and then you can map the same. For you the sender and receiver would be the same as EBP and SUS are on the same client but it still has to go through XI.

What I did with my functional consultant is he used to generate a scenario which obviously goes into error because the Integration directory is not configured. But i would know that whats the Interface name and who is the sender. then I go to the Integration repository wherein most of the Interface are either _in or _out...so when you get an out just search for _in.

Hope this helps in case you don't have a proper document with you

I am configuring XI for SRM / EBP in the same client following steps of the service procurement cinfiguration guide, after I have created an SLD and inserted it on SRM define logical systems if I try to send a PO to SUS I have a message: BBP_PO_SEND_XML in process and an error ocurr SLD NOT ASSGNED TO LOGICAL SYSTEM

Any Idea?
