Portal Navigation Problem

Hi,

We were trying to call a the PERSONAL INFORMATION Overview page on click of BACK button in my WDA Application.

So I started reading the documention about WDA-Portal Integration in this link.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/18/f96f4132f15c58e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

I tried testing the Standard WDA Component - WDR_TEST_PORTAL_NAV(WDR_TEST_PORTAL_NAV_PAGE Application) by creating an iview in my portal. But this application doesnt work at all.

I really dont understand why it's not working.

And one more thing, in the parameters, I had never mentioned the ENTERPRISE PORTAL path at all. Should it be sent as a parameter to lr_port_manager->navigate_absolute method?

If so, what's the name of the parameter?

If not, then how does this method recognize the enterprise portal URL? how does this method refer to our EP correctly? If so, there should be some way to maintain the EP Path at ECC Level.

Can anyone make me clear of this integration and solve my current problem.

Regards

Hi Raja,

Do you mean the back-button of the browser window?

Best regards,

Hi Thomas,

No, I mean, I have a button in my application "Back to Personal Info", which on click takes me to the Personal information Home Page. I mean, on click on this button, one of the ESS Standard page must be loaded.

I hope I am CLEAR.
