Tracking changes in Planning Table

Hi Friends,

Can anyone let me know how we can track changes made in Planning Table by Users using their respective planning Books/ Data views. What I mean can we track who has changed to what the Key Figures in the Planning table (Interactive Planning ). Thanks and would appreciate your help.

Well not really the changes can be tracked. Although the old value in a cell is lost but what you can track is new value that someone sets for a KF in the PB. This can be achieved using the BADI method /SAPAPO/SDP_SAVE~save_check. In this BADI you can to catch the userid, timestamp, and the new value of the KF and put in a Ztable.

If the BADI is coded well, each of the change is recorded, thus we can go to the older and older changed value from the Ztable. Try out. All the best.

Hi,

Can we use the badi SAPAPO/SDP_SAVE to save negative forecast values in a batch run/interactive run? e.g Message_check says we can use this check to change how the system reacts to (error) Mesages. One of the error message is message 402 (Forecast will be negative).
