Hello,
I am trying to understand NetWeaver from a technical perspective. All the marketing information that SAP provides does not give me enough information to understand how it can solve real world problems. I would appreciate it if you can tell me how you are using NetWeaver to solve your problem and what would have been your solution if NetWeaver was not in place.
If there is enough interest, I can summarize the information and post it to this forum.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Pradeep
Hi,
NetweaverDoveloper studio (NWDS) is built on opensource plotform Eclipse it is studio to deovelop your projects for that matter from simple java class to Enterprise portals webdynpros,etcc..
it is easy to use along with J2EE stack (WAS) where you can deploy and run your applications, using studio you can reduce the coding hence you can save time, through studio u can add your own plugins, import export projects, you maintain versionin system ect.. mailny interoperability is the mail aspect, publish, consume webservices etc..
Over it's a ploform for plotform/database independent

Hi Pradeep,
don't know if you have seen them already, but there were series of articles called "SAP NetWeaver in the Real World" here on SDN that addressed the same issue - how to leverage NetWeaver to solve your real world problems. And, as far as I know, there was a pretty good perception from the community. So it might be worth having a look at them:
