SAPSerivce<SID> change local to domain user

Hello

We have Netweaver04 DualStack (SP15) on Windows 2003 server and SQL Server. Now we have to change the actual user "SAPserviceXID" defined as Local user to Domain user.

"domain\SAPServiceXID"

What I must consider before change this user? Where is it defined on Abap and Java Stack?

Hi Gabriel,

This user is the one that runs various services associated with your SAP instance for example SAPOSCOL.

While changing it from local user to domain user just ensure that you are not changing any of its authorizations otherwise it will not be able to start the services. Make sure that it is in correct groups from OS perspective as well database perspective.
