Ports that need to be open - VC - Portal and a R/3 backend

Hello,

I am trying to configure VC – portal on the same machine and to acess a back-end R/3 via JCO or RFC .

The big problem is that most of the ports on this machine are closed so the R/3 cannot “talk” to the portal . I ask you what ports do I need to open on the portal machine ( a windows 2003 box ) to get them communicating.

Visual Composer –

Port - 1000

Portal – (lets say instance number = 00)

Port - 50000

Port - 50018

Port - 50004

Port - 3600

Port - 3601

R/3 ( JCO or RFC )

-

??

What do you guys think ? any heads up you guys can tell me about doing this.

If anybody knows which ports should be opened please share it with us.

We are Usin EP 6 SP 11 . And i Also need informations about the ports which are needed to be opened to connect from the portal to an R3 backend system ?
