calling windows apllication like MSWord from Webdynpro Application

Hi forum,

I need to launch a windows application such as MSWord from the webdynpro application when the user click on some link or button. Could any one give some clues on this.. It is an urgent requirement for me...

Use OfficeControl UIElement.

there is a UI element called OfficeControl, that fits into your needs.

If you are using NW2004, please check the documentation for this release, too, because there are some changes
