Hi All,
Our SAP setup is on WAN...user is able to connect to SAP and they are also able to ping the server with gud speed (without connection dropping). But the connection drops if user is trying to update the database or opening heavy report or running heavy transaction like FS00...etc. The error they are reciving is sap error connection broken 10054 (taking time to show this error). if user tries to connect again ,...they are getting message that they are already connected....(SAP default message - select one of the option from 3). plz help me to resolve this issue as go live date is very near :((.
regards,
amit
Hi,
It is noramally the problem on the Networking side and not SAP problem. This happens, as well running TCP/IP connections break down when sending or receiving larger data packets . I guess is related to your MTU( maximum transfer unit) .If data packets are larger than your MTU, then connection breaks down.
Check your MTU using command netstat -i
Better to involve your networking guys to solve this issue.
Please reward points if helpful.
Regards,
Phani
