Hi all..,

Here is our senario.., we already have ECC and SRM systems installed.., and planning for BW CRM XI and Solution Manager. All systems will be installed on dedicated physical servers which means we have 6 servers.

1) we have one public IP is there any chance of communicating all the systems form outside thru this public IP if so how ( i mean a router for which IP will be assined and map those Computers )

2) is there a chance that any 2 sap Systems can be clubbed together without hindering performance

our servers have 2 GB rams each this is for training envirolment

Any special suggetions for better hardware and better landscape design.

Mate,

At the firewall level one public IP can be specified for multiple systme but can be specified for port.

As i know when the public IP is natted to lan ip few ports are opened for each server but same cant be opened for other system.

For eg: if i open ports 3200, 3299, 3300 for SAP server A with a public IP will be be able to natted SAP server B with same Ip but cant open the ports 3200, 3299, 3300 for server B.

Performance wise it depends on ur lease line speed and connectivity

Cheers

Arun
