reading Portal-session-id from webdynpro for abap

Hello,

we use portal netweaver 2004s sp9 on instance A and Application Server for Abap on instance B.

Whith an iview for webdynpro for abap we have integrate the webdynpro for abap in the portal.

Now we want to read the portal-session-id in the webdynpro for abap.

How can we do this?

Hi Oliver,

for security reasons, this is not recommended.

You could say it has been made difficult for a reason.

Currently certain sap framework and control

URL name value pairs are stripped out by the WD framework.

Whether these parameters will be made available in the future is a question

for development.

Without writing your own or changing the standard service handling class,

I dont think you can access the session-id from WDA.

Out of interest, what business scenario lead to this request.
