Unable to login ot the portal

HI ALL,

I am unble to login to the portal 7.0 integrated BI 7.0 with the user J2ee_admin or any user, surprisingly the screen does not show any error and the screen remains the same.The user is not locked and password is correct.any one help?

Hi,

Please check the settings are set in visual admin>server>services-->security provider

in runtime tab>components>ticket check in authorization tab

Login modules

1)Basic password loginmodule Requisite

2)com.sap.securtiry.core.server.jaas.CreateLoginModule Optional

3)com.sap.security.core.server.jaas.EvaluateTicketLoginModule Sufficiant

If these three settings are not there please change accordingly

Select Switch to Editmode(pencil) add new/modify then restart the java.

Hi

The problem was solved. Whatever is mentioned is perfect. In my case there were two entries for 'EvaluateTicketLogin Module' and no 'CreateTicketLogin Module'

I created the entry and then it started working.

Hi Shyam,

I also encountered the same problem. I tried checking the settings as mentioned by you. There was a difference in 'CreateLoginTicket Module' and I did the change and restarted the server.

But the problem continues.
