where i am install portal exit error, but installation closed and worse in log files errors.

but on run reinstallation portal exit message

Pre-Installation/J2EE/Portal Existence Check that portal exists

maybe in transaction SICF - HTTP Service Hierarchy Maintenance

something activated

but in SICF not found portal urls, only xi, bw and others.

Hi

if you are trying to install EP on Netweaver, may be you will get this error. portal comes along with Netweaver and you need not install it again.

you can check the same thru web browser.. specify the following address.

http://<hostname>:8001/irj/portal
