Customer hierarchies is used to create flexible hierarchies to reflect the structure of customer organizations.

They are useful for organization if you trade with customers who have complex, external structures that you need to take into account during sales order processing and billing for determining pricing, including rebates.

<b>Example,</b> you trade with major retail chains or large concerns that are organized in hierarchies with numerous levels.

i have checked your thread Customer Hierarchy ,  client is planning to implement the customer hierarchy and ask us that what kind of hierarchy structure any of the big firm can have and how it would be useful ,
