Using NWDI NW04s for a NW04 landscape

Hello

Is it possible to use a NWDI 7.0 for a NW 04 landscape with XI 3.0 and some WebDynpro systems ?

I found no hit, that it doesn't work but I whant to ask if someone have experience in this scenario.

Hello Gerald,

in principle you can develop for multiple target versions using a single NWDI installation.

You just set up a development track that contains the appropriate libraries (SAP_BUILDT, -JEE, -JTECHS for NW04 SP x). I'm not sure if there are official libraries for XI, though.

For WebDynpro you must use the correct NWDS version that matches the target system, using an 04S NWDS to develop for NW04 is not supported.
