looking for SAP XI

HI

iam basically a MSC graduate in Geography i 6 yr worked for a GIS (geographical information system basically a mapping company)

i have more then 3+yrs exp of DBA and db dev.. in all most all database software expert in oracle and sqlserver and a worked on .net and knowledge of BW/datawarehousing .In our company people r working on SAP tech... both module and BW . i want to do SAP XI will i be able to do SAP XI can i work on IT WITH knowledge in database and .net

Hello,

Try one of the following:

- get involve with the SAP technology group by making a friend or contact

- get access to an SAP XI system on their development system

- get SAP experience e.g. SAP Enterprise Portal - Downloaded the SAP NetWeaver 2004s Java Trial Version from https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/downloaditem?rid=/library/uuid/cfc19866-0401-0010-35b2-dc8158247fb6

- read up and do create something. There are a lot of How-To out there on SDN.

- offer your experiences (DB and .net) and newly acquired SAP skills to that SAP technology group. There are people with SAP XI skills but no DB or .net experience. So, use your skill-set as a leverage.
