regards

I have a 'simple' question regarding archiving.

Is it possible to read archived data if you perform archive and delete for archiving object (example for object MM_ACCTIT) without information structure and this object does not have a read program?

How can I read this data without reload?

Thx in advance

Mark

Hi Karin

I missed a matter of problem.

I do not need an Infrastructure for reading archived data but I need a read program.

I noticed that I do not have read program for SAP object MM_ACCTIT in my system (neither Infrastructure).

How can I read this arcived (and deleted) object?

thx

Marko,

As there is no SAP supplied read program for MM_ACCTIT, the only way to read this archived data is through an archive information structure. Unless you write your own custom read program. As of release 4.5A, there is an SAP supplied archive information structure for MM_ACCTIT. If you are at an earlier release, you would need to create your own custom one.

Hello Mark,

The only way that I know of to evaluate archived data is through a "Read" program, an archive information structure, or some type of 3rd party product such as PBS. I would not recommend reloading archived data (unless to a test environment). MM_ACCTIT does have an archive information structure that can be activated and filled.

Hi Karin

Unintentionally I deleted documents connected with archiving object MM_ACCTIT.

As far I know I can find information structure in Archive Explorer, but there is no standard information structure for this object. Could you provide me more information regarding this structure for object MM_ACCTIT please.

thanx in advance

Hello again,

I am not sure what you mean by "there is no standard information structure for this object". In our system, there is a standard SAP supplied field catalog SAP_MM_ACCTIT02 and an archive information structure SAP_MM_ACCTIT02. These are available in both 4.6C and mySAP ERP 2005. If these are not available in your system, you could create a custom one.
