Hi

Let me put my Production cluster environment. We have CRM5(ABAPJAVA),EPBI7.0,XI7.0

we have to install CRM5 , 1 CI , 1 Dialog Instace, 2 node db cluster(sql2005).

How will i proceed the installation step-step

how should i share my CI, Dialog installable files.Should i create partition on Shared drive or local drive installable files.I mean each server will have own files.

Also let me know different files at shared location.

Can you explain all steps, first SCS installation on CI instance then what to do in DB server , then dialog server etc..

I know it will take some time for you but it is great help , because i need to proceed thin scenarion on Monday.

I have done so many installations on HP-UX,IBM-AIX,SOlaris,etc..

But MSCS has not done .

Thanks

Kristene

Hi,

To install a SAP system with MSCS:

- Firstly, find the SAP installation document guide from SAP site (https://service.sap.com/instguides)

- In the document guide, jump to the "High Availability with Microsoft Cluster Service" then follow the steps described.

Here's a summary about installing a MSCS ABAP ERP 6.0 in Wins + SQL Server:

- Setup nodes, shared disks.

- Create a cluster

- In the Cluster Administrator, you move all disk groups and the cluster group to the first MSCS node.

- On the first MSCS node, you install MS SQL Server.

- You install the central services instance for ABAP (ASCS) on the first MSCS node.

- You cluster the first MSCS node.

- You install the database instance on the first MSCS node.

- You cluster the additional MSCS node.

- If required, you install an enqueue replication server.

- You install the central instance.

- You install at least one dialog instance.
