Suspending process chain and restarting later

Hi ,

I would like to suspend a list of process chains and restart them once I finish the planning area realignment. Is there any possibility to suspend the process chains? Some of process chains are event triggered and some others are direct scheduling.

Shibu, if you go to maintain the Process Chain, right-click on the Start Process of the Process Chain and select Displaying Scheduled Job(s).... You should see a job called BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER. This is the job that starts the Process Chain. You can change this from Released to Scheduled and thus halting the execution of the Process Chain. To schedule it back, right click on the Start Process and select Display All Job(s)... and find the BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER that is scheduled and then release it.

The other solution is to remove the entire process chain from the schedule. You can always Activate and Reschedule another time. To remove the process chain from the schedule, use RSPC to maintain your process chain and at the top, select Process Chain -> Remove from Schedule. This will remove all the scheduled jobs for all the processes in your chain. to reactivate, just hit F8.

Hope this helps.
