Maxdb 7.6 connection problem

Hi,

after SSm installation, the ssm instance is up and I can work in solution manager system, but if i try to do transport or if I try to connect with Maxdbclinet to db I receive the following connection error:

• ERROR => Connect to database failed, rc = -10709

(Connection failed (RTE:cannot create communication semaphore))

Someone can help me

Can you please post hte last few lines of kindiag_err logs

Hi Marco,

this may have different reasons. To find out what happens here it would probably help if you please look into the "appldiag" file for any messages which match the moment of connecting to the database.

This file can you find in the '<indepdata>/wrk/<user>' directory (<indepdata> - something like '/sapdb/data'; <user> - your system user account name).

Please let me now what you could find there.
