Hi,
Architecture of SAP 4.7 have 3 tires
Presentation layer.
Application layer.
Data base layer.
Prsentation layer:Where user can login to the system(SAP GUI).
Application layer:Where actuall calculations and evaluations will be done.
Database layer:Where data will be stored in the form of tables.
If you want exact information means try to login to <b>help.sap.com</b>
If you have S user id means try to login <b>service.sap.com</b>
