Hi,
i'm trying to install SAP NetWeaver 2004s Java Trial Version, i've extracted *.rar files on my desktop in a folder named SAPNW2004sJavaSP9_Trial.
I launch the setup.bat file, at the step 2, the JDK directory is found and it's correct but after the application want the location for JCE Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Archive, what is it ? i found on help.sap.com this http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8d/cb71b8046e6e469bf3dd283104e65b/content.htm
But i don't find any JCE to dowload, how can i get it ?
Thanks
Regards
Hi,
you can found it under http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html at the bottom of the page.
During the installation you are asked for the directory the zip is in.

On http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html this is the Sun Java Cryptography Extension but if i understand (look prerequisites of http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8d/cb71b8046e6e469bf3dd283104e65b/content.htm) i need to have the <b>SAP Java Cryptographic Toolkit</b> but i don't find it.
The question is : it's obligatory to use SAP Cryptographic Toolkit ? i don't think so, thus I will download JCE from http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html and after how can i install it ? And during SAP installation what do I have to provide him, a repertory, a jar file ?
Thanks
I put jce-1_2_2.zip file into my C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09\security folder.
I launch setup.bat and i've the same problem, in the field 'JCE Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Archive' i put 'C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09\security' and i have the following message 'File C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09\security does not exist.'.
My folder installation is on my Desktop it's maybe a problem ?
I am using j2sdk1.4.2_13 installed into C:\j2sdk1.4.2_13 and put jce_policy-1_4_2.zip into this folder.
After the installation of NW trial the content of the zip is unzipped into the folder C:\j2sdk1.4.2_13\jce.
Perhaps your versions doesn't fit together? Your SDk is 1.4.2_09 and you are using jce_1_2_2. Try jce_policy-1_4_2.zip, from naming it fits probably better.
I got problem that I can neighther unzip saved jce_policy-1_4_2.zip file nor I can run SDM from Sun. All jce.jar files have incorrect ZIP file by SAPinst in step 2.
How can I unzip 1177039244167-integrated.jnlp file what i saved in SDM?
SDM Run finished with errors.
It seems to me that I need some ZIP program?
I found on Google many jce_policy-1_4_2.zip downloaded one and got next problem as on log below:
