Unable to create Dynpage and JSP Dynpage.

Dear All,

I want to develop <b>Brodcast messages to logged on users in Portal</b>.

I have gone through this link

in this link in step two. I have to create one Dynpage and one JSP Dynpage.

I am unable to create one Dynpage and one JSP Dynpage.

I have NWDS 2.0.9.

hello manoj,

i don't have the 2.0.9 NWDS but in 2.0.16, you can create new DynPage or JSPDynPage

using the Portal Application Objects creation wizard from the toolbar menu. is this

not available in 2.0.9? or you are having problem only with the code generation?

I am not getting any Portal Application Objects creation wizard in 2.0.9.

Hi Manoj ,

If the New/Other/PortalApplication/Create new portal application object wizard is not available .

Then the only way is to create a file with .java extension and manually include the code for JspDynpage and Dynpage.

The problem was there in portalapp.xml.

Hi,

I am having NWDS 2.0.9. The way to create the JSPDyn page is first create a <i>Portal Application</i> in the New Project using the wizard.

Once the project is created, in the context menu of the project( Right click on the project) -> <i>New</i> -><i> Others</i> -> <i>Create a Portal Application Object</i> -> <i>Next</i> -> Select Project Name -> <i>Portal Component</i> -> <i>JSPDyn Page</i>.
