Archiving XI messages

Are there any good documents on Archiving the XI messages? Any suggestions, tips for archiving or deleting.

Hi Kalpana -

One tip: There's a deletion job associated with the archiving process and a different deletion job associated just for the deletion process. If you archive, don't forget to set up the deletion job associated with archiving. Just a heads up as you go through the documentation.

i could not understand..exactly.. there is option for schedule delete job and there is option for archive job.. and there is always parameter that need to be set in Integration engine ..

what should my sequence of step for setting up archiving and deletion procedure..
