User master export/import

Hello All,

I have exported user master records from one system (profile: SAP_USER) and trying to import into another system. Transport import finished successfully with RC=0 but when I am performing post import activities SCC7, the job has been running for almost 1 hour.

I want to know whether this is normal or is there anything I need to do. SM66, SM37 shows the job is still active. Also when performing post client import operations, do we schedule this job in the foreground or background?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I think it may take some time.If you want to check whether this job i sactivelly running or not.

Try to go T code SM37 click on that job and see job details and find out wich work process is in the process and instance.

Try to login to that instance and doubleclick on the workprocess and find out the database,number,time will change if you do refresh.
