Hi,

Looks like your J2EE engine is down, can you post the dev_jcontrol log file.

Siddhesh,

I installed the MS loopback adapter and was able to complete the install.

Now I have another issue.

In SAPMMC, the jcontrol process is in yellow and it's been that way for the last 30 minutes.

Downloaded and installed it yesterday.

see dev_jcontrol.

Hi,

Looks like your dispatcher process is not running, can you check/post the dev_dispatcher file.

Also check the following link , it might help you resolve the problem you are facing:

Hi James,

Can you also paste the bootstrap trace, it should contain the reason , why your dispatcher is failing.

Siddhesh

Hi James,

Other files you can check are jvm_* files in the work directory, they should also be able to provide insights into why the server stopped.

HI James,

Just a suggestion, you should check your host name. it might be a problem (AMAXPDD-1257F), Special character should not be there.

Thanks Subhash,

It was the memory size that was prevented the j2ee server from starting...

I increased the VM to 3 gb and it is running now!

Thanks for your help

Hi James,

I solved the install "hanging at 31 of 31" by restart the old install three times - strange. I have no idear why the install finally worked. After I installed, I could start the J2EE SErver too with dispatcher etc completely. but after I rebooted my machine jcontrol (J2EEServer) stopped - any idears why?

best regards

Rainer
