Print from the portal (EP6)

Hi,

I´m trying to print a sheet from SAPGui using the Portal.

I have an iView that opens an transaction. When I try to print from SAPGUI directily, I'm able to do so, if I try to print from the portal (EP6) using the Iview with the transaction it doesn´t print.Could it be because of the ITS?

Another thing I not able to open XLS sheets in the portal (EP6) using the same iView.

i dont think that its because of ITS.

iview just a frame inside your portalpage. If you need to print the contents of iview from outside the iview then through javascript you have to set the focus to the iview and print it . the key is finding the iview's id (serach the portal development forum this has been discussed there already).

also the other point to note is that if your ITS is running in a different domain than the portal then you have to do something called domain relaxation. again search the portal development forum, this has been discussed there.

Hello Lai,

if the iview contains an SAP GUI for HTML ("webgui"), note 351230 might apply.

If you "open XLS sheets" through full Office Integration, this will not work with SAP GUI for HTML - see note 314568.
