service desk problem

hi,

I have configured solution manager4.0 and configured service desk.I am able to create message in production that is visible in solution manager.

Now the problem is after giving the reply,message is not created through an external mail(I am not getting the auto message).

for that what settings i will do.

Please refer Note 691303 - Sending E-Mail from message after status change, need some configuration to be done for the notification part.
