Hi all
As far as i have understand from de XI documentation, Alerts from Xi are send to the alert framework. My question is that: from the interfaces in XI i have to raised the Alerts from the alert framework to the CCMS, because any time that an alert happen i have to execute a SO command. And the only way I have found to execute this SO command is using the auto reaction method in the CCMS. Do you think this is possible?
Many thanks for your help.
Noelia
Hi,
depends how you raise your alers
if you raise them via an RFC (from mapping or directly from abap)
you can easily start OS command from abap

Hi,
it sure is possible to forward the ALerts to CCMS alerts.
You can configure a connection to CCMS and schedule the periodic transfer of alerts to CCMS.
Once you have configured the connection to CCMS, choose Show CCMS Connection, select a period, and start the periodic transfer.
A background job is scheduled that collects all unprocessed alerts and forwards the data to CCMS. You can also stop this job.
The transferred data is displayed in a special CCMS monitor.
