File adapor stooped polling file

Hi ,

We have file to idoc scenario, now yesterday "Error occurred while connecting to the FTP server : java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out" error happened and adaptor stopped polling

Now i checkd the connectivity and it is working fine but still the adaptor is not polling the file

Any clues???????????

Check whether the FTP Server Details provided properly in the communication channel.

Hi Swatantra,

Deactivate and activate the communication channel, if is not reflecting changes in the communication channel monitoring,

then in the Integration Directory go to

-


> Environment

-


>Cache Notifications (Click here)

If all the components related to your scenario are showing green fine otherwise try refreshing the cache in ABAP engine using SXI_CACHE Tcode.

Hi,

if it was working mazbe something happends to the FTP server

+ try logging to it from your computer

+ check if there are no closed ports to it from XI server machine (not from yours)

I am able to login to FTP server from my computer

How to check the closed port???

Hi,

try logging to FTP from the XI server machine (OS level)

if this will work then the problem is on the XI part

deactivate and activate the communication channel or recreate it if needed. It should solve your problem.
