please explain me the reason behind the better performance of the proxies than any other communication(Indirect).

proxies can communicate with XI using native XI protocol. If u use adapters, adapters will convert from XI format to application format and vice versa. But proxies doesnt have to do that. Thats why u get that performance benefit.
