LDAP Installation

Hi,

We are under CRM5.0,PI,BI7 and EP7 implementation all components are

NW2004s.We have installed and developed development and QA environment.

All servers are sucessfully installed on Windows2003Enterprise using

SQL2005enterprise editions.Also integrated all the systems using Singlesign on (SSO) logon

ticket.Initially during installation we have not selected LDAP

authentication,now customer is asking to install /configure LDAP authetication

so that they can directly login from OS authentication.

Can we install now LDAP authentication , if yes what are the steps to

do at OS level and SAP end.

Hi Kristene,

yes, you can install LDAP. You have to install it on a new server.

Then you have to change your settings for UME.

Please have a look at note 777640. there you can find some more informations and of course some more notes
