error when replicating materials from R3 to SRM

We are replicating materials data from R3 to SRM and the following errors are displayed:

Product ID is longer than allowed by the Customizing setting

Mat. for Initial Download: Function table not supported

Does anybody know how to solve them?

Check in the following IMG in SRM System...

Cross Applicaiton componets->SAP Product-> Basic settings->Define output format and storgae format of product IDs .
