Hello,

I'm trying to install the lastest java gui (7.00) just download it from sapnet. But when i run the 'install' command i get the following message:

bash:~/Desktop$ java -jar PlatinGUILNX_1-20000489.jar

10.01.07 11:19:36 ================================================================================================

10.01.07 11:19:36 ERROR: Init GUI name failed

10.01.07 11:19:36 Error message:

10.01.07 11:19:36 ================================================================================================

Did i miss something? I've been reading through the manual but haven't found anything usefull.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bas.

Please try to download like described here:

The file should have the name:

PlatinGUI-Linux-700r1.jar

Some problem with jar file. Try downloading the jar file again and do it.

Or

downlaod some other version of GUI and try installing it..

That's what i thought, and i downloaded it twice just to be sure. That didn't help, so i used a 640 java gui from an installation kit. This version installs just fine, running the gui is a different thing, but i figured that's just a dependency problem.

Thanks for the reply, Puru.
