To start with, I had a standard SAP driver program and it's corresponding smartform.
I customized the driver program for data retrieval and a customized smartform (customized layout for dot matrix, with appropriate font etc) was called instead of the standard smartform.
The standard program, together with it's standard form, was being printed using a laser printer. Now, my client wants the customized form to be printed on a dot matrix.
The problem is that, once I choose a dot matrix printer for previewing.... nothing happens.
But, if while choosing the printer, I choose the laser one, I am able to both preview and print.
Did anybody get a similar problem ? Or does anybody have an idea of why I'm having such problems with the dot matrix Printer ?
P.S : the standard form can only be printed using the laser printer. I get the same problem of no preview if I try to use the dot matrix printer with the standard form.
