Hi All,
Kindly provide me in support pack application of a new installed system.
I know that the support pack needs to be applied in a downtime.
Is there any possibility that supports could be applied without a downtime or a minimised downtime.
Pls help..kindly sent me the docs or links to them for a detailed study about this..
Expecting your kind response...

Hi,
Once u have applied the installation SP check what is the current level available at market place and update if required. Recommended to keep your SAP system -2 with current avaliable update ar market place.
Regarding Downtime. You have to make sure no user has logged in the System when you update the SP as they might come across performance problem, Short Dumps and some time SP will run into error if the user have some lock objects under him or her.
So care needs to be taken.
Let me know for any other clarification
Cheers
Arun
